Left out of Yuma Arizona and headed to Quartzsite Arizona. my first stop, The Martha’s Gardens Date Farm. I was going to take the tour, but it was booked full! I checked out the place, bought some Dates, and headed North on Highway 95. Just around the corner my next stop was The Bridge To Nowhere.
The Mcphaul Bridge was constructed in 1922 and abandoned in and replaced in 1968 when it was deemed insufficient for modern transportation needs.
My next stop just down the road, The Pause, Rest, Worship Chapel.
The Loren Pratt’s Little Chapel can sit 10 folks plus a preacher. Was built in 1995 as a memorial to his late first wife. It was destroyed in a storm in 2011 and rebuilt in 2012.
My last stop, beside the immigration check point, The Yuma Proving Ground to take some photos of the beautiful mountains in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.
I wondered into Quartzsite Arizona around 4:00 PM.
