Summer Trip 2016 Vlog Day 18 Update – Bad Tire! 08-16-2016

When we took off from Lincoln Nebraska after 30 mile, I Stopped in Nebraska City, Nebraska to get gas and check out the bike. After my inspection I found cracks in the rear tire. I called a few places and found out we had to go back to Lincoln Nebraska to get a new tire. Rod’s power Sports was the closes place that had my tire. I drove there at a speed of 55 mph and the tire got worse! We made it and the tire plus labor cost me $336.00 (Very Expensive!).

    • There has not been many tire choices for my bike. Dunlop was not a choice for my bike until this year. I will give them a try. I have not been happy with the Elite 3, they only last about 5,000 – 6,000 miles, expensive tires! They came out with the Elite 4 this year also and it on the back now, it’s said that they are a better and last longer.
