2012 Summer Trip Day 6

Lots of Christmas Trees in Boone County, North Carolina. Great weather this morning, just right for riding.

Great view at Lovers Leap

The Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, winds through the mountains of Southwest Virginia.

Went through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, I stopped at the rest stop just before the first tunnel and the bathroom were closed. So I decided to continue on, but they just closed the tunnel to start cleaning. So I went back to the rest stop, found a place to pee, then had me a little dinner, while waiting for them to reopen.

Finally the tunnel reopen 30 minutes later, at the first part of the tunnel a truck with brushes scrubbing the celling got me wet as I passed by. I got washed! Good thing they did not make me pay extra for the wash.

About Lone Star Rider

I love traveling and seeing new places and making new friends. And the best way to do it is hopping on my motorcycle and hitting the open road. I love that feeling and excitement of riding a motorcycle. Catch Ya On The Road!!! …… Rex
